1. Where is the closest beach?

• The closest beach is Holland State Park, just a short 10 min walk or 2 min drive. It’s a beautiful, expansive sandy beach with restrooms, volleyball courts, a kids play structure, and more! 
• Tunnel Park is also nearby and has a beach area, kids play area, restrooms, and dune for kids to play on.

2. What restaurants are nearby?

• Reservoir is just down the road from The Beach House and features an outdoor patio, large menu with allergy friendly items, and bar.
• Lolo’s is also a fun bar, just down the road, right on the marina with food, drinks, and live music!
• For breakfast, we recommend checking out Caribbean Sunrise for delicious coffee drinks and Puerto Rican dishes.

3. Do you have bikes?

• We do not have bikes at The Beach House at Lake Street, but there is a local bike shop that does bike rentals. Cross Country Cycle is just a few minutes down the road and can be your stop for bike rentals!

4. Where can we rent a boat or paddleboard?

• Holland Water Sports is right down the road from The Beach House and offers pontoon & jet-ski rentals.
• Mac Adventures offers boat and other water sport rentals and is about a 20 minute drive from The Beach House

5. Is fishing allowed and where can we get fishing supplies?

• Fishing is allowed on the Lake Macatawa Channel. Mac Baits is a short drive from The Beach House and there you can stock up on your fishing essentials! 616-392-2553

6. How far is the drive to Macatawa Legends Golf Course?

• The drive to Macatawa Legends is about 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day.

7. What are the amenities like at Macatawa Legends Golf Course?

• Macatawa Legends features a golf course, pool area with three different pools, bar, and seating, a golf simulator, fitness center, and a delicious restaurant called The Red Rock Grille.

8. How far is The Beach House at Lake Street from Downtown Holland?

• We are about a 10 minute drive from Downtown Holland. Downtown Holland has great shops, restaurants, and other activities to enjoy while you’re in town!

• Holland Cat Cove – do you or your kids love cats? Visit Holland Cat Cove to check out adoptable cats or attend one of their weekly events!
• Craig’s Cruisers – mini golf, go carts, arcade, and more! A perfect spot to spend the afternoon with the family
• Windmill Island Gardens – most people think Windmill Islands is for Tulip Time only but this beautiful spot is open during the summer to the public and features gorgeous gardens, walking paths, windmill tours, and more!
