I vividly recall taking a late summer-evening drive down the lakeshore and it was then that my original vision for The Beach House was born. I noticed a property for sale that offered a fantastic view of Lake Macatawa, a short walk to Holland State Park, and was surrounded by family-friendly activities such as biking, swimming, boating, fishing and so much more. I immediately saw the potential to develop a family resort that would complement the lakeshore’s vacation atmosphere.

So the process began… I purchased the property and began working with architect Wayne Visbeen to design a family-centered vacation resort. As the plan unfolded, I became more aware of my desire to build a resort that would be available to more than just a few families. Having only eight units meant that few would enjoy the special place that I wanted to create. Most wouldn’t stay there the entire year, which could leave The Beach House vacant for weeks at a time. So I began to research fractional ownership and found it to be a good fit for The Beach House and for my vision of a vibrant year-round resort offering the opportunity of great memories for many families. The Beach House staff manages the property to ensure that all is in order when you arrive, and ready for the next guest after you leave.

As the developer of the resort, my intention and vision for The Beach House was to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for the year-round guest. So come and stay for the weekend or stay for a week. The Beach House would love to have you. And for those of you searching for a special place to call your own, I invite you to explore this truly amazing place!
